Celebrating America 250 with Good Food, Family Traditions, and Fresh Bread

This year, Independence Day carries special meaning as America celebrates its 250th birthday!

For 250 years, communities have gathered around tables, shared meals with family and friends, and celebrated the freedoms and opportunities that make our country unique. While the foods may have changed over the years, one thing remains the same: food brings people together.

At The Busy Bee's Bakery, we believe some of the best memories are made around the table. Whether it's a backyard barbecue, a neighborhood cookout, a family picnic, or a quiet gathering at home, fresh bread and homemade treats help make those moments special.

Here are a few ways to celebrate America 250 with fresh-baked favorites:

Build Better Burgers

Skip the ordinary buns and serve burgers on thick slices of Jalapeño Cheddar Sourdough. The combination of cheddar and jalapeño adds flavor that guests won't forget.

Create a Grazing Board

Rosemary Garlic Sourdough makes the perfect base for crostini. Pair it with dips, cheeses, fresh vegetables, and fruit for easy entertaining.

Serve a Patriotic Breakfast

Start Independence Day with Blueberry Lemon Sourdough French toast topped with whipped cream, strawberries, and blueberries.

Share Something Sweet

Our gourmet cookies and sweet breads are perfect for family gatherings, fireworks parties, and holiday dessert tables.

This week's featured sweet breads include:

• Banana Bread

• Peach Blueberry Bread

• Raspberry Lemon Bread

And gourmet cookie favorites such as:

• Chocolate Chip

• Ultimate Peanut Butter

• Pistachio White Chocolate Chip

• Turtle

• Snickerdoodle
